Breeding Advice

Here you will find information about breeding your rats. As none of us at Ratanooga currently breeds our rats (and probably wont any time soon), a big thanks goes to Ratsicles Rattery in Columbus, Georgia for allowing us the use of her articles on breeding. Those without links will be coming soon.

Please note that we do not condone random breeding! If you are serious about breeding, you will take the time to research rat breeding & genetics thoroughly. You will also take the time to speak to various official breeders (peferably those supported by RATANOOGA), and have the necessary funds. Breeding can be expensive and can end in tradegy if not done correctly.
